It’s a great excuse to get in the kitchen to whip up some treats to show your appreciation for the love, support and care they give you and your family. For this delicious cake the Host used Lewis Road Creamery Organic Cream. This cream whips up to make a rich, velvety side for any dessert. A tip from our hosts is to add a tablespoon or two of maple syrup instead of icing sugar, alongside vanilla, to build on the layers. Click here to find this amazing produce click here.

To cut through the richness of the sponge and cream the Host spread Barker's of Geraldine Raspberry Spreadable Fruits.  This spreadable fruit preserve is sweetened with only juice concentrate and made from 98% fruit, this spreadable fruit preserve is a great option for anyone wanting to reduce their refined sugar intake, without compromising on flavour. For these tasty sandwiches the Host used Meadow Mushrooms Small Portabellow mushrooms. These are large Portabello mushrooms that have been picked just before they’re fully grown. Like their big brothers, they can be eaten raw or to add a robust mushroom flavour to cooked dishes. Their size makes them perfect on top of a juicy steak, on toast for breakfast, or why not go all gourmet and stuff them with ricotta cheese, chili, fresh oregano and parmesan cheese?

To add some freshness to the sandwiches Host added ThymeBank Italian Parsley.  Herbs are a must to add colour, flavour and added nutrition to any meal. This parsley from ThymeBank is fresh, delicious and lasts well in the fridge at home... that is if you can hold off using it all at once!
